About Helping Hands
Located at Gainesville, FL 32601, Helping Hands operates as a medical clinic serving Gainesville in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under homeless service, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
In Gainesville, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across Florida, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 4β7 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Helping Hands at (352) 519-5542; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is hhclinicgnv.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 15 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded medical clinics & centers in Gainesville.
Gainesville is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Gainesville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Details on this page come from public sources and may change; confirm anything important by phone before relying on it. Business owners can claim the listing to keep it up to date.

I has a very painful experience with the psychiatrist Dr. Arias. She didn't feel I was honest when conducting an assessment of me. Then proceeded to what felt like interrogate me. I felt like I was treated like a vulnerable, dishonest person and gaslighted for it by this doctor.

I love this place. Been going here for years. I would give them five stars but they don't have dental yet. I pray they build themselves up more for dental resources and help as they need fental interns that help for free from the UF!! I hope and pray for all the dental resources they can get in the name of Jesus, yes I do and Amen!! Dental is considered cosmetic for a lot of insurance companies so hopefully they can help the homeless with at leadt clean breath and teeth, I cannot stress this enough!!! As even people with insurance are getting their dental/orthodontal & periodontal needs turned down!! Please make this bug go away A.S.A.P. in the name of Jesus, AMEN! Yeshua, Alpha, and through to Omega in the name of Jesus of Nazareth! Thank you & Amen!

This is an amazing group in every way! I have adopted several greyhounds from helping hands and also foster greyhounds with them. You can really tell that they love the animals that come through them. The volunteers are caring and helpful from the application process to the actual adoptions and beyond. 4 months after I adopted from them I had a food/tummy issue. They were there to help and made the recommendations to help get my pack worked out...who else would go out of their way to help like that? All of their animals go into foster homes to be assessed and when needed, to start their training to becoming happy and healthy members of your family. Thank you HHR for everything you do for the animals and people who are searching for their perfect pet!!!
